1 package yellow cake mix (extra moist)
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups almond paste or 1 can

Mix together sugar and almond paste and set aside. Mix cake batter according to box. Grease 9 x 13-inch pan, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour 1/2 batter into pan, sprinkle 1/2 almond mixture over batter, pour remaining batter in pan. Sprinkle remaining almond mixture on top. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
